D42K + the Infinite Kitchen

01 Our cool, abstract cover for the alternative controller

A cooperative game controller where the set of interactions are split between two players used in a first-person game where the aim is to take a carton of juice to the fridge, through a puzzling and seemingly endless kitchen.

Concept

An input device was made that is capable of transforming a single-player game into a cooperative two-player game. Moving the point of cooperation out of the digital environment, into to the physical world and onto the bodies of the players themselves. For the game, the difficulty of having to navigate a labyrinth-type setting was thought to inspire conversation between players. What's more is that each game ending came with a randomized phrase to read at the end.
